ATTENTION TEACHERS! The Dibble Institute is sponsoring a journal contest for your students. 

YOU could win a $150 gift certificate at Amazon!  And one of your students could win a new iPod!
   
If you are using any of The Dibble Institute’s curricula from the list below, have your students journal on the following:

Please write up to one page about how taking this class has impacted, changed, or benefited your life. You might also include what ideas from this course you will want to remember for the future.

For example, "After taking this course, I realized I was in a poor relationship and that I deserved better.  So I broke up with my boyfriend." 

Think about what you have learned in this course that has impacted you, your thoughts about yourself, your friends, your other relationships, your family relationships, relationships with teachers, and other adults, etc.

  • First place prize is a $150 Amazon gift card for the teacher and a new 16G Nano iPod the student!   
  • Second place is a $75 Amazon gift card for the teacher and a new 4G iPod shuffle for the student!

If you are teaching Connections, Love Notes, Love U2, Essential Disciplines, or The Art of Loving Well this fall semester, you and your students are eligible to participate in this contest.  Winners will be featured on the Dibble Institute's website.

Teachers must submit the student’s entries by 5:30 pm CST on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 via:

Each entry must contain:

  • Teacher's Name
  • School
  • City and State
  • Teacher's email and phone number
  • Student's Name
  • Name of curriculum used

Student entries may be no longer than one page. 

Teachers may submit as many student entries as they would like, but one entry per student.

Entries will be evaluated by a committee based on the level of the curriculum’s impact on the student’s thoughts, behaviors and/or attitudes.
