Not sure which curriculum is best for your needs?  Contact Irene Varley, Director of Education, at 941-360-1859 (M-F, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time).

STEP TWO:  Determine your training needs

Before contacting us, please consider the answers to the following questions:

  • What is your desired outcome? What are your goals?
  • Ages of the teens you are wishing to impact? How many?
  • Which program is best for your audience?  You may contact Irene Varley to help you decide.
  • Who will attend training? (For instance, teachers, church youth workers, pregnancy prevention workers, health workers, juvenile justice workers, community youth workers.)
  • How many people will attend?
  • Will each person have a curriculum in front of him or her at the training?
  • Where will training take place?
  • Do you want to have an author come to do this training?
  • Number of training days? Hours per day?
  • What dates you are considering - We recommend at least 4 months planning time to complete the planning process.

Time needed for training:

We recommend that you plan for a minimum of 4-8 hours of training per curricula selected.  A full day (6-7 hours) allows our trainers to give attendees the opportunity to fully experience the program activities and to see how each lesson is implemented.

STEP THREE: Determine your training costs
To determine your costs, complete a Training Worksheet. You will see the trainer fees listed there. We have provided a Sample Worksheet to help you with the calculations.Go to Sample Training Worksheet page.

STEP FOUR:
Email your completed Training Worksheet to Irene Varley, Director of Education or FAX it to 775-628-7088.  You will be contacted within a week of your submission.

For more information you may call Irene at 941-360-1859, M-F, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
